Our sauna is a dry sauna with no heavy steam or moisture that makes it difficult to breathe. It feels like the soothing warmth you feel while sitting in the sun.

Yes! Our sauna room is completely private, so no locker rooms or shared sauna with strangers. Our room is equipped with books, journals, oracle cards, and chilled aromatherapy towels.

Haven does not have a shower at our facility but we provide chilled aromatherapy towels and essential oil body spray to help you feel refreshed after your session!

It varies depending on the individual’s healing goals and current state of health (toxin load, inflammation levels, stress levels, etc.). It is recommended to gradually introduce infrared sauna therapy into your self-care routine but once you are used to it you can utilize this therapy daily if desired. Studies show that those who use sauna therapy 1-5 times per week have a reduced risk of all-cause mortality! Not only does it prolong our lives but it helps us feel our best every day!

Our unit has a max of 160-170 degrees, although each client has full control over the temperature. You can rest assured knowing you are receiving the maximum amount of benefits without having to be miserably hot or uncomfortable.

Some sweat more than others, some sweat more each time they use the sauna, there is no “right” or “wrong”. Our sauna is affecting you on a cellular and tissue level, therefore your healing is not dependent on the amount of sweat you sweat, if any at all. Sometimes lack of sweating can indicate a sluggish lymphatic system.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage is an extremely gentle method that aims to improve the flow of lymphatic fluid. Our lymphatic system and network is superficial under the skin and is responsible for waste and toxin transportation and removal, and it can become stagnant, causing edema, affecting our body's ability to properly detox, and other health issues.

As with any practices that promote detoxing, some may experience some mild flu-like symptoms after their service. We always recommend staying hydrated and resting post MLD massage. This is dependent on lifestyle, toxin load and several other individual factors.

Our approach with MLD is not focused on any goals based on the potential secondary effects of cosmetic results, so if you are only looking at MLD specifically for “body sculpting” or to achieve a cosmetic “before and after”, we may not be what you’re looking for.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a light touch technique to address the superficial lymphatic system so it is not the same as a deep tissue massage. However, if you schedule a MLD session you can let your therapist know if you’d like a “combo” session that includes regular massage as well as MLD.

While MLD can definitely help with recovery post injury and surgery, it is necessary to have your doctor clear you for this treatment first. Our MLD sessions do not include draining any ports, open wounds, or external fluids of any kind post lipo/BBL/any other surgery.

Craniosacral therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on therapeutic technique that focuses on the craniosacral system, which includes the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord. The goal of CST is to release tension and restrictions in this system, promoting overall well-being and facilitating the body’s natural healing processes.

During a CST session, the practitioner uses light touch to assess and gently manipulate the craniosacral rhythm, which is the subtle movement of the cerebrospinal fluid. By addressing areas of restriction or imbalance, CST can help relieve pain, reduce stress, and improve nervous system function.

Craniosacral therapy is often used to address issues such as:

Energy Healing techniques will be paired with the healing therapy of frequency (sound) via crystal sound bowls to encourage the client’s energy field to release any stuck or stagnant energy/emotions/experiences, and bring a sense of peace, relaxation, clarity, and balance to the energetic body.

An oracle reading is performed by an experienced intuitive. Generally the client may have a topic or question they are looking for guidance and clarity on. The reader pulls oracle cards from various oracle decks and helps interpret and decipher the messages for the client. This service is a great way to gain new perspectives and connect with your own intuition.

These readings are performed 1:1 in a private spa room.

When booking multiple appointments online, each service needs to be scheduled individually. We always recommend checking the availability for your services prior to booking to make the process go smoothly.

Our providers have 30 minutes of recovery time between each service, so keep this in mind if you are scheduling back-to-back services with the same provider.

Our couples massages/facials can be performed simultaneously in separate rooms. Our Sauna and Contrast Therapy sessions can be enjoyed in the same room together by selecting “Bring a Guest” when booking online.

That is completely personal preference! Either way is fine and doing both therapies is a very healing combination.

We do not recommend this. If you’re booking a facial, it’s best to use the sauna first. Certain treatments such as dermaplanes and peels require the client to avoid sweating directly after. Avoiding the sauna post facial also ensures you are receiving the best absorption of any products applied during the facial.

Cold exposure helps mental health and mental resiliency, reduce pain and inflammation, improve performance, regulate nervous system, boost mood and energy, better quality sleep, helps the body regulate temperature, boosts metabolism and activates brown fat, stress management & more. We recommend starting slow in the cold plunge (30-60 sec) then 5-10 mins in the sauna and repeat. The contrast of hot to cold boosts blood flow getting oxygen and nutrients to the tissues and lowering inflammation. You will leave the session feeling refreshed and reinvigorated!

We recommend starting slow in the cold plunge beginning with just your feet-knees for 15-60 seconds, then 5-10 mins in the sauna and repeat, each time gradually adding more of your body into the water until you are up to your neck or fully submerged. The contrast of hot to cold boosts blood flow getting oxygen and nutrients to the tissues and lowering inflammation. It is not necessary to force yourself to go in with your full body your first time or to stay in for long periods of time. 1-2 minutes (or less) is beneficial. Take it slow and listen to your body and how it is responding and adjust accordingly.

It is perfectly valid to be nervous to try it! Cold Plunging can be uncomfortable at first (or every time!) but we believe that the benefits are worth the discomfort. Most people feel empowered after being able to do it despite feeling hesitant and overcoming their fear around it. It is important to note that cold exposure can feel extreme and (like any other healing modality) has the possibility to trigger adverse reactions for those with severe panic attacks, severe respiratory or circulatory conditions, so always consult with your doctor before trying this therapy and go at your own pace. If you are physically unable to get in and out of the cold plunge without assistance, it is not a good idea to book.

We aim to start every session at around 55 degrees. This is a good place to start for first time plungers. It goes as low as 37 but it is not necessary to ever reach that point or to stay in for long periods of time. If you need a higher or lower temperature you’ll need to call ahead so we can accommodate to the best of our ability.

We are really big on limiting harsh chemicals that people with sensitivities may react to, but have a high standard for sanitization and cleanliness so we utilize a non-chlorinated option. The plunge utilizes ozone, hydrogen peroxide, and a commercial grade micron filter which neutralizes contaminants like bacteria, viruses, and more. Proper pH is maintained. These are built with a commercial standard in mind, for the highest sanitization method possible.

It is a completely private room. We provide towels, but if you prefer to plunge + sauna in swim wear you're welcome to bring that (we recommend bringing a bag to carry your wet suit out in!).

You can bring one guest (18 year of age minimum) to enjoy the session with you with no extra cost as a Member and $5 for non-members. PLEASE NOTE: most people alternate - while it's okay to both use the sauna together, you may not both use the plunge simultaneously (this is due to water level & safety).

It is best to wait until you are not actively bleeding for any reason to use the cold plunge.

Please avoid plunging if you received a recent spray tan or hair dye.
